Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 15, 2026
This notice explains how information is handled when you use The JunkFather’s website, request a quote, or contact us about junk removal and related services. Questions about your information? Email contact@thejunkfather.us or call 865-855-5865.
Information you choose to share
Our quote and contact forms ask for details such as your name, phone number or email address, the items you want removed, your city or ZIP code, and preferred timing. You may also share a pickup address, project photographs, or other information when you communicate with us by phone, text, or email.
Please share only what is needed to discuss your job. Do not send Social Security numbers, payment-card details, passwords, or medical records through a quote form. When sending photographs, avoid including people, documents, or belongings unrelated to the work.
How we use inquiry information
We use the information you provide to answer questions, prepare and follow up on quotes, discuss availability, arrange service, and maintain customer, inquiry, and job records, including quote requests that do not result in a booking. Providing contact details with a quote request allows us to respond about that request; it is not a sign-up for recurring marketing messages.
Optional promotional emails
Promotional emails are a separate, optional choice. Our email-offers checkbox starts unchecked. You can request a quote or book a service without signing up. If you select the box and provide a valid email address, we may send occasional JunkFather coupons and special offers. We keep your selection with the inquiry and record the signup wording, date and time, and source form. You can withdraw your permission using the unsubscribe option in a promotional email or by contacting us using the details below. Unsubscribing from promotions does not stop necessary communications about a service you requested or booked. This email choice does not authorize promotional text messages.
Form submissions are processed through our WordPress website and business email. Authorized people handling your inquiry or service may access the relevant information. Contact details and job instructions may also be needed by the crew arranging or performing your pickup.
Website systems and service providers
Hosting, website software, email, and communication providers process information as part of operating the site and delivering messages. Website systems may record technical information such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, and time of a request for operation, troubleshooting, and security.
Information can be stored in website submission records, business inboxes, and related service records. Our use of these systems does not mean a form submission is publicly displayed on the website.
Cookies and embedded content
WordPress uses cookies for functions such as sign-in and administration. Embedded Google reviews and other third-party content can make connections to their providers when displayed. Those providers may receive technical information, use cookies, or recognize you when you are signed into their services. Their own privacy policies apply to their handling of that information.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies or third-party content may affect some website features. Links to other websites take you to services with their own privacy practices.
Retention and your requests
How long information is kept depends on its purpose, including following up on an inquiry, completing a job, maintaining business records, and resolving questions or disputes. You can contact us to ask about information you have provided, request a correction, or request deletion.
We may need enough information to verify a request and locate the relevant records. Some records may need to be retained for legitimate business, legal, accounting, or security reasons. Email and system backups may be handled on different schedules from active records.
Calls, texts, and photographs
Calling, texting, or emailing us uses the services of your telephone or email provider as well as ours. Your provider’s charges and privacy terms apply. Let us know when responding to an inquiry if you prefer a particular contact method or do not want further follow-up.
Sending photographs for a quote is not permission to treat the images as a customer testimonial. Tell us about any privacy concerns before sharing photographs or arranging work.
Keeping your information appropriate and secure
No online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Use the contact form for ordinary job details, not sensitive documents or payment credentials. Contact us directly to discuss a more appropriate way to handle information that is not needed for an initial quote.
Changes and contact
We may update this notice as our website or information-handling practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision.
