Alex and his crew worked their magic and really came through for us. I have a friend recovering from a some health concerns and was not going to be able to return home in the condition it was in. They worked with our budget, and were prompt, friendly and professional. They certainly went above and beyond. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again. BIG THANKS to Alex!

Junk Father was one of three places I contacted. They were by far the best priced and easiest to work with. They ask what items were being moved and gave me a quote based on that. Other companies wanted pictures and more details. Alex was great communication and very very fast and moving the things out. I would definitely recommend Alex and his team to anyone who needs furniture or items removed.

Hot tub removal from patios, decks and backyards

We'll take it from here.

Broken, unused or simply no longer part of the plan? We remove outdoor hot tubs and spas from patios, decks and fenced backyards. Our crew handles the dismantling, loading and haul-away. You get to think about what goes in its place.

Most tubs we remove need to be cut into manageable sections for transport. When the tub and the route out allow it, we can take it away in one piece. Either way, you don’t need a removal plan before you call. Show us the setup, and we’ll work out how to get it gone.

Tight access? Show us the route.

That hot tub may have arrived before the fence did. It doesn’t get to claim permanent residency just because the way out looks awkward.

Show us the gate, deck, steps and slopes, including any part of the tub built into the decking. We’ll look at the access and explain how we’d tackle the removal. If deck changes or other demolition are needed, we’ll discuss and price that work separately before starting.

HOT TUB HAUL-AWAY IN ACTION

Watch the crew take care of business

That old spa has had its last soak. This clip shows our crew unloading a hot tub we’ve removed. It’s the heavy part of the job you get to skip.

Have one of these occupying your backyard? Send us photos of the tub and the route out. We’ll talk through the removal and get your quote started.

How hot tub removal works

01 / Send us photos

You don’t need a moving strategy. Start with photos of the tub and its way out, your city and any cover, steps or accessories that should go with it.

02 / Get your upfront quote

We’ll talk through how the tub will come out, what’s included and what it costs. You give us the go-ahead before the crew gets to work. You’re calling the shots.

03 / We handle the heavy work

Once the spa is drained and its electrical supply safely disconnected by a qualified professional, we handle the dismantling, loading and haul-away. Your part? Decide what to do with the space.

How much does hot tub removal cost?

Upfront pricing. No hidden fees. The hot tub can be complicated. The price shouldn’t be.

A spa beside the driveway is a different job from one on a raised deck behind a narrow gate. Size, dismantling and the carry to the truck help determine the cost. Show us any covers, steps or other items you’d like hauled away, too.

Photos help us put together an initial estimate. We’ll confirm the price and what’s included before work begins. If extra work is needed, we’ll discuss it with you and get your approval before adding to the price.

A Farragut hot tub that left without a fuss

Some hot tubs make us work for the goodbye. This one kept things simple.

A Farragut homeowner needed her spa gone as soon as possible. We arrived the next day, with the electrical supply already disconnected and a gate and path that gave us room to move. We removed it in one piece, with removal and loading taking around 30 minutes on site.

This was one of our easier jobs; most tubs we remove need to be cut into sections. The gate deserves a little credit on this one. For your removal, send us the setup and your preferred date, and we’ll check availability.

Hot tub removal: see the space we gave back

Here’s what happens when an old spa stops calling the shots. These photos show three separate JunkFather removals, with each before-and-after pair showing the same space. Take a look at what was hiding underneath all that hot tub.

Beside the brick house

This spa had the spot beside the brick wall all to itself. With the tub removed, the ground is visible again and that corner no longer belongs to the hot tub.

A covered stone patio

The stone patio stayed. The hot tub didn’t. With the spa removed from beneath the elevated deck, there’s room to picture something else in this covered space.

AFTER REMOVAL

A raised wooden deck

The spa was getting a generous share of this wooden platform outside a brick home. We removed the tub and left the decking in place. Now the deck gets to be a deck again, rather than a parking spot for an unwanted spa.

Getting ready for the crew

Your hot tub must be drained and its electrical supply safely disconnected by a qualified professional before removal.

The JunkFather does not perform any electrical work.

Keep the access route clear, unlock gates and let us know about pets or parking arrangements. Once everything is ready, we’ll take care of the removal. Not sure what to show us in your photos? Give us a call.

Haul-away and disposal, handled

Taking it apart is only half the job. We load the hot tub and removal debris and haul it away for disposal. You’re not left figuring out what to do with a spa-sized pile of parts.

Have a cover, steps or other junk that needs to go? Show us while we’re putting your quote together so we can price the whole job up front.

Keep spa chemicals separate and mention them ahead of time. Recycling options depend on the materials and local facilities.

Hot tub removal questions

Yes. Send photos of the tub, deck and route out so we can plan the removal. Tight access often means dismantling the spa rather than moving it whole.

Usually, yes. Most hot tubs we remove need to be cut into manageable sections for transport and hauling. When the tub and access allow it, we can remove it intact instead. We’ll explain the plan before starting.

Yes, we can include the cover and steps in your quote. Show us everything you want removed so we can price the full job up front. The old spa doesn’t have to leave its accessories behind.

Call or text your photos, city and preferred date, and we’ll check our next available appointment. Working toward a deadline? Tell us when you get in touch so we know what you’re planning around.
