THE JUNKFATHER / REAL PROJECTS IN EAST TENNESSEE

Our Work: Junk Removal, Cleanouts & Demolition

The photos do the talking. We handle the lifting.

A few pieces of furniture after a move. A whole hotel floor of mattresses. An old grill that had made itself a little too comfortable on the deck. Different jobs, same idea: you have plans for the space, and we handle what needs to leave.

Alex and his crew worked their magic and really came through for us. I have a friend recovering from a some health concerns and was not going to be able to return home in the condition it was in. They worked with our budget, and were prompt, friendly and professional. They certainly went above and beyond. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again. BIG THANKS to Alex!

Junk Father was one of three places I contacted. They were by far the best priced and easiest to work with. They ask what items were being moved and gave me a quote based on that. Other companies wanted pictures and more details. Alex was great communication and very very fast and moving the things out. I would definitely recommend Alex and his team to anyone who needs furniture or items removed.

Home & rental cleanouts

Sometimes the goal is an empty room. Sometimes it’s keeping the right things and making room to use them. The customer decides; the crew handles the hauling.

The JunkFather truck with its loading ramp extended during a rainy Tellico Village pickup.

TELLICO VILLAGE / RAINY-DAY PICKUP

The rain came. The job kept moving.

Rain arrived while we were loading the truck in Tellico Village. We finished the pickup, the customer got the junk hauled away, and the truck got a bonus rinse. See this job and a separate local garage cleanout.

Plastic storage containers and assorted unwanted household items inside a Lenoir City home.

LENOIR CITY / HOUSEHOLD & OUTDOOR PICKUP

Indoor clutter. A riding mower. One removal list.

This Lenoir City customer wanted extra clutter gone: a plastic tote and miscellaneous items inside, plus a riding mower and other unwanted items outside. We handled the pickup and haul-away from both areas.

Sectional sofa, coffee table, shelving and remaining household items in a carpeted apartment living room before removal
Before: furniture left after the move
Empty carpeted apartment living room with vertical blinds and a sliding glass door after the furniture was removed
After: the living room cleared

The move was finished. The furniture wasn't.

This tenant had moved out and needed the remaining furniture gone so it wouldn’t put his security deposit at risk. We removed the leftovers and cleared the living room.

Not a whole house full of junk. Just the last part of a move that needed taking care of.

Wide view of the basement with boxes, storage bins and household belongings spread across the floor before the cleanout.
Before: belongings and debris in the basement
The customer's kept boxes, bags and household belongings organized on rows of black storage shelving after the basement cleanout.
After: keepers organized and debris hauled away

A place for the keepers.

At this newly built home, the customer wanted his belongings organized, not thrown away. We stocked the new shelves with the things he was keeping and hauled away the unwanted debris.

A cleanout doesn’t have to mean an empty basement. It should mean a space that works for you.

Sofas and a coffee table in a Sevierville cabin rental living room with wood flooring and green walls before furniture removal
Before: the cabin's old seating
Cleared wood-floored cabin living room with green walls, wood trim and a wall mirror after the old furniture was removed
After: room for the replacement furniture

Sevierville: old seating out, new plans in.

This rental cabin was due for a furniture refresh. The new pieces had a place in the plan, but the old seating still had the space.

We cleared the unwanted furniture so the owner could move ahead with the update without taking on the lifting and disposal trips.

Commercial projects with more to coordinate

Larger quantities, heavier material, or a deadline between closing and opening. These jobs show another side of our work. You still don’t need an airport-sized project to call us.

Mattresses and box springs stacked outside beside wooden doors and an upholstered chair during a bulk removal project.
Hotel project: mattresses and box springs staged for removal

One hotel floor. More than 100 mattresses.

We handled more than 100 mattresses from an entire floor of a hotel. This photo comes from that bulk removal project, not the smaller household pickup on our mattress page.

One mattress or 100, we’re there for you. Tell us the quantity and timing, and we’ll put the pickup plan together.

Crew members working inside a retail kiosk on the tiled floor of a shopping mall.
During the overnight kiosk removal at West Town Mall

West Town Mall: closing time was our starting time.

The kiosk needed to leave between closing and the next day’s shoppers. We started at 9 p.m., protected the floor, and worked into the early morning dismantling and removing it within the mall’s guidelines.

The next business day didn’t need to start with yesterday’s removal project.

Retired painted steel lattice-tower sections lying on grass before hauling.
On the job: retired steel tower sections
Retired lighting equipment, metal pieces, and other materials gathered on pallets for removal.
On the job: airport materials gathered for removal

McGhee Tyson Airport: nearly 30,000 pounds removed.

Retired lighting equipment, crates, scrap metal, wood, concrete, and steel towers made this more than an ordinary pickup. The tower sections needed careful cutting before loading.

Across the airport project, we hauled away nearly 30,000 pounds of material. These are working photos from the job, not a before-and-after pair.

Demolition & removal: room for the next chapter

Some things need dismantling before they can leave. Others have room for a simpler exit. The job is to remove what’s unwanted while paying attention to what stays.

Built-in grill island partly dismantled with exposed wood framing and moving blankets protecting the deck
During: dismantling with the deck protected
Open deck after the outdoor kitchen and demolition debris were removed
After: grill island and debris removed

The grill left. The good deck stayed.

The homeowner had fresh deck and interior flooring, and a heavy built-in grill that had to leave through the house. We used moving blankets, carefully dismantled the island, and carried out the debris by hand.

On this job, the deck and interior flooring were left without scratches or scuffs. The old setup didn’t get to leave a souvenir.

Small brown backyard shed with an open door and stored items inside, before removal.
Before: the small backyard shed
Exposed concrete pad and stacked masonry after the small backyard shed was removed.
After: the shed gone and concrete pad left in place

An old shed gave the yard back.

We dismantled this small backyard shed and hauled away the structure, leaving the concrete pad in place.

That corner of the yard was no longer spoken for by an old building. The next use for it was back in the customer’s hands.

Gray outdoor hot tub beside a brick house before removal
Before: the Farragut hot tub
Exposed ground beside the same brick house after hot tub removal
After: the hot tub removed intact

Farragut: this spa took the straightforward exit.

The homeowner needed the tub gone quickly. We arrived the next day; the electricity was already disconnected and the route had room for the whole tub. Removal and loading took around 30 minutes on this job.

Most tubs need dismantling. This one didn’t. The JunkFather does not perform electrical work; safe disconnection must be handled before removal.

Have a project like one of these?

Yes. A single couch, mattress, appliance or a small pile is a reason to call. These projects show the range of our work, not a minimum job size. Explore all services or tell us what needs removing.

Photos are a useful starting point. Send pictures of what needs to go, your city or ZIP code and your preferred timing. Some projects need an on-site look before we confirm the total. You’ll approve the price and included work before we start, and any additional paid work needs your approval.

Tell us your deadline, and we’ll check availability and the work involved. The timings on this page describe those particular jobs; they aren’t a promise of same-day service or a fixed completion time for a different project.

Your project doesn't have to stay on the to-do list.

Send a few photos, your city or ZIP code, and the timing you have in mind. We’ll talk through the job and put together an upfront quote. No hidden fees, and no need to recruit friends for the heavy lifting.

Browse all services or check our service areas. One item or a bigger project, we’d be glad to hear what you’ve got planned.
