Alex and his crew worked their magic and really came through for us. I have a friend recovering from a some health concerns and was not going to be able to return home in the condition it was in. They worked with our budget, and were prompt, friendly and professional. They certainly went above and beyond. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again. BIG THANKS to Alex!

Junk Father was one of three places I contacted. They were by far the best priced and easiest to work with. They ask what items were being moved and gave me a quote based on that. Other companies wanted pictures and more details. Alex was great communication and very very fast and moving the things out. I would definitely recommend Alex and his team to anyone who needs furniture or items removed.

Removal for the next step of the sale

Before listing photos or showings

Remove the unwanted furniture, boxes, or clutter on the agreed list before the next appointment. Keep the pieces you want in the property; this doesn’t have to be an empty-house cleanout.

After an estate sale

Unsold items can remain after the sale is finished. Once the authorized person decides what stays and what may be removed, we can quote the leftover pickup. We handle removal, not running the estate sale.

Before closing or handover

Tell us the deadline early, along with the full removal list. We’ll confirm the work and an available appointment before you rely on the pickup. The old belongings don’t get to set the timetable.

One unwanted sofa is welcome, too. Furniture, mattresses, household clutter, and selected contents from garages or storage areas can be discussed in one quote. Include other items in your photos so we can confirm what may be accepted.

A REAL PICKUP BEFORE A PROPERTY HANDOVER

The estate sale was finished. The pod still had company.

After this estate sale, unsold items remained in a storage pod and the property was about to change hands. The remaining pickup needed to be handled before the handover.

Our crew collected the items we’d been asked to remove and completed this emergency pickup the same day. The before-and-after photos show the contents removed and the floor space opened up.

That was the turnaround for this particular job. For your property, share the deadline and we’ll confirm availability and the agreed scope before booking.

Before pickup: unsold estate-sale contents waiting in the storage pod.

After pickup: open floor space in the pod following the agreed removal.

Four details agreed before the crew arrives

Who can authorize disposal? Identify the owner or authorized representative who can approve removal of the belongings. An agent arranging access is not automatically permission to dispose of everything inside.

What goes, and what stays? Agree on a specific removal list. Point out furniture, fixtures, sale items, personal documents, and anything else being retained. Uncertain items need a decision before removal, not a guess from the crew.

How is access arranged? Confirm the appointment and whether someone will meet us or access will be arranged in advance. Share any keys or entry instructions privately with us. Heavy items can stay inside for our crew.

Who approves the price? Confirm the quote approver and the point of contact before work begins. We get approval before any additional paid work and agree on how completion will be confirmed.

Working with an off-site owner or representative

You do not always need to be at the property. Unattended pickups require advance arrangements: authorized access, the agreed item list, clear keep-and-remove decisions, and price approval.

Give us the contact who can answer questions while the job is being coordinated. Before pickup, we’ll agree on how completion will be confirmed, rather than assume you need a particular report or inspection service.

For family or estate properties, take the time needed to decide what matters. You’re in charge of what stays. We’re here to help with what goes.

A clear removal plan and an upfront quote

Start with item photos, your city or ZIP code, and preferred timing. Add the deadline, what must stay, and the person coordinating approval. We review the removal list, confirm a workable appointment, and agree on the price before lifting begins.

The amount, size and weight of the items, dismantling, agreed sorting, labor, disposal, stairs, and difficult conditions can affect the quote. A spare-room pickup is different from a whole-property clear-out. Photos start an estimate; some jobs need an on-site look before the total is confirmed.

Upfront pricing. No hidden fees. Additional paid work needs approval before it is added. The offer comes first. The hauling comes next.

Before pickup

Set aside keys, valuables, paperwork, and personal belongings. Confirm permission to remove the items and tell us about hazards or unsafe areas. Do not move heavy furniture outside just to prepare for us.

Necessary gas, water, and hardwired electrical disconnections must be arranged before connected equipment is removed. The JunkFather does not perform electrical work. Flag paint, fuel, chemicals, or unusual materials before booking so we can confirm what may be accepted.

Realtor and pre-listing cleanout questions

You can book directly. We work with sellers, realtors, and authorized property representatives. One unwanted piece or a larger removal list is welcome; you do not need to be an agent or arrange a whole-house cleanout.

Yes, when the work and available schedule allow. Tell us the deadline with your item photos and location. We confirm the appointment and scope before you rely on a pickup time. The same-day pod pickup above was one completed job, not a guaranteed turnaround for every booking.

The owner or a representative with authority over the belongings must approve disposal. We also confirm who approves the price and any changes to the job. Clear instructions about what stays and what goes are required before the work starts.

Yes, with arrangements made in advance. We need authorized access, a clear removal list, price approval, and a contact for coordination. We agree on how completion will be confirmed when planning the job; a formal reporting or inspection service is not assumed.

Yes. Identify the furniture, fixtures, and belongings that must stay, and approve only the items being removed. You do not have to empty the property to use the service. Our role is the agreed removal, not choosing or arranging the property’s furnishings.

No. This service covers removal, lifting, loading, and haul-away of approved unwanted items. It does not include staging, deep cleaning, repairs, or packing and transporting the belongings you are keeping.

Yes. Once an authorized person decides which remaining items may be removed, we can discuss the pickup. We do not run the estate sale or decide what the belongings are worth. See the storage-pod job above and our estate cleanout service for the removal side of the work.
